The Panasonic GF1 can also record 1280x720 HD motion picture in AVCHD Lite, which features long recording time and high compatibility with audio-visual equipment.

The Panasonic GF1 digital camera also has Face Recognition for up to 6 people, and up to 3 of those can be registered so that their names will show when recognised. You can also specify the age of the registered subject and have the name and age of your subject stamped into the photograph.
