My partner bought it for me a dozen years ago to replace an f5.6 that was really too small. Taken it around the world and it does not look like it. The 335 is just exactly the right size for the professional guy with confidence - he does not feel he has to pack everything including the kitchen sink! Me? I take 2 Nikon f2 bodies and 4 lenses, meter, films, filters, hoods etc and a large Filofax. That's all I need to get the job done. With this kit in my 335 fibrenite I can run - and I'm 60. Size matters, don't make the mistake of thinking you need a bigger bag, you don't.

Haven't had a chance to use the bag yet. I had high expectations for the quality of this bag and it has exceeded them. Real quality!

We've used all sorts of bags over the last few years - Domke etc. - but nothing approaches the sheer quality of construction, sensible gimmick free design and usability of this bag. It fulfills every criterion for a professional standard camera bag and is well worth the cost. Maybe this model would benefit from a wider strap?

I have always used Donke bags but fancied a change as my F2 was starting to wear.
Got this bag as I wanted to try something different and what a great bag it is.
It holds everything my fully packed F2 did and theres tons of space for more.
Holds a 1Dmk3 with a 17-40mm lens on easy and thats with the inserts in the bag too.
Quantum turbo fits in any pocket which is great.
Even when loaded this bag feels empty.
The strap is perfect.
I'll still use Domke for press work but Billingham for everything else.

Rather than going for a cheaper alternative, just to realise after 12 months that I should have gone for something better and more durabe, I went for the Billingham 335. I couldn't have made a better choice. It is comfortable to carry around even if fully loaded, holds a camera body with reasonably long zoom lens, flashgun, and 2-3 other lenses, plus there is plenty of space in the front compartment - I even just about manage to fit my 13inch macbook in there. The bag looks great too - and not like a typical camerabag. Hasn't let me down in pouring rain or snow either, and I definitely recommend this bag to everyone looking for something that will accompany you for a long long time.
