These heavy–duty tripods offer great stability and are capable of supporting the heaviest of camera equipment. Both the No1 and No2 tripods are constructed from the same tough aluminium tubing, with the No2 tripod offering extra height with its longer legs. The double ended centre column offers a choice of standard 3/8” or 1/4” fixing for ball & socket heads. This kit includes a Pro Ball & Socket Head and a Carry Bag.

Comments about Benbo 1 Tripod Kit with Ball Head and Bag:

I had to practice to get this tripod adjusted smoothy, as it works very differently to a more regular tripod, with a locking lever that allows any part of the tripod to be positioned independently of the rest of the device, which made me struggle initially with flailing legs (the tripods, not mine)! But twenty minutes in and the tripod was my new best friend, getting my camera into positons that you just could not get to with a regular tripod, and I have never found a situation for Natural History macro work that this tripod could not handle with aplomb. The tripod is heavy, but this makes the more precarious positions more stable and less likely to tip over, this will not be blown over by the wind, when your camera and macro lens come crashing down on the floor like lighter tripods have done for me in the past. Just learn to use this properly and soon "it takes two", "Lean On Me" and tunes of other buddy movie staples will be going through your head. Perhaps best described as for extreme locations rather than wedding photo's.
